Alejandro Diaz is President of Hernandez Plumbing Company, a family-owned business proudly serving South Florida since 1972. Built on the foundation his grandfather Pedro Hernandez established—an immigrant who started the company from scratch—the firm continues a legacy of hard work, integrity, and service to the community.

Pedro was known not only for building a successful plumbing company but for helping others grow in the trade: among the first to help translate plumbing code books into Spanish and to teach classes that helped many Spanish-speaking plumbers earn licenses and build careers. That same commitment to helping people and doing things the right way remains at the core of the company today.

Alejandro grew up in the business, joining his father on service calls, learning troubleshooting firsthand, and working as a service plumber for many years. From complex field problems to large-scale projects, he developed a deep understanding of both the technical and operational sides of the industry.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Florida International University, strengthening operations, leadership, finance, and growth strategy. After graduation he built experience in marketing and business development—improving customer acquisition, systems, and efficiency—giving him a rare combination of hands-on plumbing expertise and business leadership.

Under Alejandro’s leadership, Hernandez Plumbing has become one of Miami’s leading plumbing and restoration contractors, trusted by homeowners, property managers, investors, and commercial clients.
